A few common mistakes to watch out for: buying a carpet that looks great in the showroom but isn't suited to the room's use; skimping on underlay (it really does matter); choosing a very pale colour for a busy household; and buying on price alone without checking the twist count or density. We'll always be upfront with you about what will and won't work — we'd much rather you're happy with your floor in three years than disappointed in three months.
