Flooring questions answered

Find answers about measuring, fitting, samples and our two showrooms. For advice about your own project, please get in touch.

Yes. Get in touch or complete our free measure form with your room details and postcode. We will discuss the visit and arrange a suitable time.

The time depends on the size of the job, the flooring and any preparation needed. Ask about the fitting programme when you discuss your quote, particularly if you have a move, booking or other work planned.

Tell us what needs moving or removing when you arrange your measure. Confirm whether furniture, uplift and disposal are included in your quote, and what you need to prepare before fitting.

Some ranges can, but the flooring, underlay, fitting method and heating system need to be checked together. Bring your system details and follow the relevant manufacturers’ installation and temperature guidance.

Let us know before ordering. The existing surface affects preparation and product choice. Any moisture problem needs to be understood before it is covered, and the required work should be discussed as part of the quotation.

We have showrooms in Wadebridge and Falmouth and help with flooring projects across Cornwall. Send your postcode and a brief outline of the work so we can confirm the arrangements for your location.

Ask the showroom about sample availability and any loan arrangements for your shortlist. Seeing a sample beside your own furniture and in different light can help you choose.

Yes. Contact us about commercial premises, holiday lets, rental properties or a project for your client. Share the specification, budget and dates so we can discuss the work.

Our business has 20 years of history. Our highly experienced team works across all flooring types and project sizes, from a single room to a complete home or a large commercial project.
